That Day…

Well there’s not a single shred of doubt about how amazing dogs can be …

I don’t have one as a pet, but we have kinda “adopted” a stray. Her name’s as we call it Cucu ( pronounced as  coocoo). She is a happy go lucky dog, moves all day around the colony, running here and there, typical dog stuff.

But at night she usually  comes to our home to eat as she now knows the way to our house(by the way my house is up on the fourth floor I always marvel how she comes to the right door  every time).

That day I was walking to get some groceries when I suddenly bumped into her. She was so overjoyed I couldn’t tell you. Her tail wagged from nineteen to the dozen. Jumping over me , I couldn’t stop but shake her paw and pat her.

Now, she was walking right beside me but after some time she stopped.

I called her to come but she just stood by like it was a no man’s land after a point (actually every dog has a territory in which he/she can move). I went ahead and it took me around 15 minutes to buy the items.

As I was returning, I saw her, sitting at exactly the same spot I left her.

Now I was overwhelmed. She welcomed like she hasn’t seen me in ages and was walking beside me as usual.

That incident got me into thinking …

She could have done a gazillion things when I left but she chose to stay. Why was she waiting? If I hadn’t come would she still be waiting there for me?

I don’t know the answer to these questions but my love, adoration and respect for her grew in leaps and bounds from that day. I realised how selfless her love is.

Could never forget that day .

What do you think is the answer to the questions ?

Time to consider MNP ?

Well, it’s definitely the time of Jio…
Consider the facts –
It has become a behemoth in providing tele services in just about 6 months.
Its services recently crossed the 100 million mark in just 170 days!!
Meaning 7 customers in just a second *woah*
This company has forced players like Idea to merge with Vodafone to combat this situation…
And Jio sims are still selling like hotcakes in the stores.

Could this be a revolutionary telecommunication company or just “jab tak free hai tab tak chalao” ?  Only time will tell.

What I feel as a consumer, that it’s a big win for us. I have been using it as a secondary sim for more than 4 months now and could tell you it’s good in parts. Daytime internet speed is low and voice quality also not that good. Most of the time I ultimately have to call from my primary sim.
It’s exceptionally good at night though ! Getting speeds upwards 2-3 Mbps (tested on ookla) in no big deal.
Recently it launched its prime membership offer which I feel is going to give a serious fight to the incumbents

Here’s the deal-
People have to register and become a subscriber by the 31st of march 2017 and pay an upfront fee Rs 100 for the year. Then they have to pay
Rs 303 ( I don’t understand the logic of the extra Rs 3) every month for the same services that we are enjoying right now – unlimited calls , 30 GB data (approx Rs 10 for 1 GB cap per day) , various Jio HD channels, Jio mag etc.
Seems good??
Considering my bill is like 300-400 pm this is a much, much better value for the services I currently pay for.
But should I use MNP and use this as my primary sim ? That’s the question.

What would you do ??
